ITINERARY
Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang - Hue - Imperial City - Kien Trung Palace (lunch, dinner)
Guests will gather at the domestic terminal, Tan Son Nhat airport. Le Travel tour guide will assist with check-in procedures for the flight to Da Nang. At Da Nang airport, the tour guide and vehicle will pick up the group to visit:
- Son Tra Peninsula and Linh Ung Pagoda - here is the tallest Quan Am Buddha statue in Vietnam. From here, guests can admire the panoramic view of the city, mountains, forests, and Son Tra islands in the most perfect way.
The group will have lunch at a local restaurant and then depart for Hue to visit:
- Thai Ha cajuput essential oil extraction workshop - Hue is considered the land of famous cajuput oil throughout the country with excellent uses, a gentle medicine, helping to relieve fatigue, for deeper sleep,...
- Dai Noi - The former royal palace of 13 Nguyen emperors, visiting Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City, Thế Miếu Temple, Hiển Lâm Các Pavilion, Nine Dynastic Urns, Hue Royal Palace Museum.
- Kien Trung Palace - a combination of European Renaissance architecture and ancient Vietnamese structures. Learn about Phap Lam - the 200-year-old lost decorative art of the Nguyen Dynasty which has been "reborn".
Freely stroll around Hue at night, experience a Hue that is not quiet but full of life at the walking street along the Huong River, freely enjoy Hue street food such as Banh Mi Loc, Che Hue, watch dragon boats going up and down the Toa Kham wharf with the echoing sounds of Hue songs. Explore the bustling West district at night with many lively shops and souvenir shops.
Overnight stay in Hue
La Vang - Quang Tri - Phong Nha Cave - Quang Binh (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Hotel breakfast. Early departure for a visit to:
- Quang Tri Citadel - listen to the tour guide's commentary on the DMZ military demilitarized zone and the Hien Luong Bridge on the Ben Hai River (17th Parallel).
- La Vang Holy Land - one of the four minor basilicas of Our Lady in Vietnam.
(Note: From August 8th to August 16th each year, the La Vang Holy Land hosts the annual "Our Lady of La Vang Pilgrimage Festival", so tours departing during this period will not visit La Vang)
- Phong Nha Cave - located in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Natural Heritage Site, considered a fairyland with its system of limestone mountains and the world's longest underground river.
- Nhat Le Beach - a pristine and poetic beach with clear blue water and soft, smooth sand.
After the visit, the group returns to the hotel, checks in, rests freely and explores Quang Binh at night.
Overnight in Quang Binh
Hue - Traditional Craft Village Exhibition and Experiential Space - Da Nang - Hoi An (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Guests will depart for sightseeing:
- Hue Traditional Craft Village Exhibition and Experiential Space, showcasing and introducing Hue’s traditional products and craft demonstrations: Conical hat making, kite making, lantern making, Thanh Tien paper flowers, bamboo weaving…
- Lap An Lagoon - admire the clouds floating over the mountain tops surrounding the lagoon, before crossing Hai Van Tunnel to Da Nang.
- Enjoy complimentary Salt Coffee, visit and shop at VietPearl.
In the evening, guests can independently stroll around the city to enjoy the beauty of Da Nang at night, admiring the Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, Shopping Center, Culinary Street, Cafes - Bars - Discos….
- Hoi An Ancient Town - Japanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Handicraft Workshop,… Freely release floating lanterns to pray for health, peace & good fortune for the new year on the Hoai River…. (at your own expense).
After dinner in Hoi An, the group will move to Da Nang to check into the hotel.
Overnight in Da Nang
Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge (breakfast, dinner)
Have breakfast at the hotel. The car will take you to visit:
- Ba Na Hills - Suoi Mo tourist area (cable car fee & lunch are self-funded) - enjoy the cool air of Da Lat in the Central region, the group freely visits Linh Ung Pagoda, Debay Wine Cellar, Le Jardin D’Amour flower garden, the new Spiritual Area of Ba Na to visit Linh Tu Temple, Fantasy Park amusement park.
- Golden Bridge: Feel free to take pictures at the super hot tourist spot of Da Nang.
- Experience the mountain train to the Moon Palace
Lunch at Ba Na is self-funded. After that, the group continues to visit and play until it's time to get off the cable car.
Overnight in Da Nang
Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City (breakfast)
Breakfast at the hotel. The vehicle will take you to:
- Shopping for local specialties at Thien Phu with over 2000 specialties from Da Nang, Central Vietnam and neighboring regions, most notably beef sausage, dried beef, squid in sweet and sour sauce, dried squid, steamed crab with sauce and a full range of dried fish,...
Transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. Farewell and end of the tour program at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
