TRIP DETAILS

DAY 1: HANOI – CUC PHUONG – WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE (Lunch, Dinner)

Our driver will pick you up in Hanoi and take you to Cuc Phuong National Park, arriving around 10:00 AM, where you will meet your local guide.

Start your adventure with a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC) to learn about the park’s conservation efforts.

After leaving EPRC, a short transfer will take you to the starting point of a two-day jungle trek. During the trek, you will hike for 3-4 hours through the pristine rainforest, passing ancient limestone caves and thousand-year-old trees.

Your destination is Vooc Valley, home to the Delacour’s langur, Cuc Phuong’s iconic species and one of the world’s rarest primates.

Your park ranger guide will provide lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay in tents deep within the forest.

As night falls, prepare for an exciting nocturnal wildlife experience. With the guidance of the park rangers and local experts, venture into the pitch-black forest with spotlights to observe civets, owls, flying squirrels, slow lorises, bats, and jungle cats.

DAY 2: CUC PHUONG – HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch)

After falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest in the safety of your tent, you will wake up refreshed and ready for another adventure.

Enjoy a morning jungle walk before returning to the main road via bus or motorbike for the journey back to Hanoi.

• Maximum group size: 4 people
• Essential items to bring: Hiking boots, headlamp, appropriate clothing, sleeping bag, hat, camera, binoculars, insect repellent, etc.
• Tropical jungle trekking is challenging due to hot and humid conditions, with leeches and mosquitoes present. Additionally, Cuc Phuong’s limestone terrain makes the hike more demanding due to rocky and steep slopes.
