Tour Description

08:00 - 08:30: The motorbike picks you up from hotels in the Old Quarter or the Opera House to start the Hanoi City Tour. In the morning, you will visit:

Tran Quoc Pagoda – located on an islet on the East side of West Lake (Tay Ho District). The pagoda has a history of nearly 1,500 years and is considered the oldest in Thang Long – Hanoi. The architecture harmoniously combines solemnity and antiquity with the tranquil and elegant landscape of the vast lake. It was the center of Buddhism in the Thang Long citadel during the Ly and Tran dynasties.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex: Visit the Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, and Ho Chi Minh’s fishpond. You will also visit the One Pillar Pagoda.
Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam: This is considered the first university in Vietnam. It is an ancient architecture, built on a large scale from October 1073 and has survived until today. The temple was built to honor Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, and Chu Van An – the principal of Quoc Tu Giam, who represents the high moral philosophy of Vietnamese education.

Lunch: You will be taken to a restaurant for lunch. Afternoon: The tour guide will continue to take you to visit:

Imperial Citadel of Thang Long: A complex of relics associated with the history of Thang Long Citadel – Dong Kinh and Hanoi Province from the pre-Thang Long period (Annam Protectorate in the 7th century) through the Dinh – Pre-Le dynasties, and it flourished during the Ly, Tran, and Le dynasties. This is a monumental architectural work, built by the kings over many historical periods, and it has become one of the most important relics in the Vietnamese heritage system.
Hoa Lo Prison: Once a prison located in Hanoi, Vietnam, also known as the Central Prison or ironically as the "Hanoi Hilton." It was built when Indochina was an inseparable part of the French Empire. Partially demolished in 1990, it is now used as a museum.
Hoan Kiem Lake: Also known as Sword Lake, you will learn about Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake. You will visit and take photos outside Ngoc Son Temple, which worships Saint Van Xuong and Tran Hung Dao, a famous general in the history of Vietnam and the world, and The Huc Bridge. If you wish to enter the temple, you will need to pay for the entrance ticket on your own.

16:00: The Hanoi City Tour ends. The motorbike will take you back to your hotel in the Old Quarter, or you can hire a cyclo at your own expense for a ride around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake or watch a water puppet show (the performance schedule may change depending on the specific time of the year). CLOTHING ADVICE:

Wear walking shoes or appropriate clothing
When visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, do not wear shorts or skirts above the knees

CHILDREN (Please read carefully to understand the terms for children):

Children aged 1-4 years: free of charge (parents cover all related expenses, and the child does not occupy a seat). Two adults can only bring one free child; from the second child onwards, a 50% charge applies (including half a meal and a separate seat on the motorbike). If one adult accompanies one free child, that child must pay 50% of the adult tour price (50% standard includes half a meal and a separate seat on the motorbike).
Children aged 5-9 years: 75% of the tour price (including a separate meal and seat on the motorbike)
Children aged 10 years and older: charged as adults.

Any services in the tour that are not used will not be refunded
The tour guide reserves the right to rearrange the order of sightseeing points to suit the conditions of each departure day, but all points in the program will be visited.
