The Development of Bat Trang Pottery Museum

Bat Trang Pottery Village was founded through the collective efforts of 23 families who moved from their original hometowns to establish a community dedicated to pottery. Today, 19 of these founding families still practice their ancestral craft, continuing to contribute to the village's enduring success.

In recognition of this rich heritage, Ms. Ha Thi Vinh, a 15th-generation descendant of the Ha Huu family, spearheaded the creation of the Center of Vietnamese Craft Village Quintessence. Her mission was to honor the legacy of Bat Trang's artisans and preserve the traditional values of the village. Bat Trang Pottery Museum now stands as a result of her dedication, serving as a symbol of cultural preservation and a celebration of traditional Vietnamese ceramic art.
